About Me

Hi, I’m Vicenza Dix. I joined the Nevada Air National Guard in 2009 as a Financial Management Technician and am currently serving as the Staff Accountant managing the Quality Assurance Program. I love that I am able to serve my country and my local community.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and Information Systems. I am currently a graduate student pursuing my Masters in Business Administration at the University of Nevada, Reno. I have a desire to constantly learn, my education is a never ending journey.

I have had the rare opportunity of living in all different parts of the United States growing up. This allowed me have the pleasure of experiencing a variety of cultures food, the different types of ingredients, how they prepare it, how it is served and the type of social experience it serves.

I have developed a true passion for cooking. I am a firm believe in what George Shaw said, “There is no sincerer love than the love of food.” They always say a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but hey the same goes for this lady. I find cooking to be a great stress reliever and it creates incredible memories, laughter, smiles and love that is all actually centered around food. Essentially your kitchen can become an arena of pure delight. I’d like to assist you in creating these priceless memories with delightful creations. Here you will find a variety of recipes that you can make from scratch without having to dig into your savings account. If you have a genuine passion for cooking, there is no need for you to attend a culinary school.
